National nonfiction simulcast

On October 29, 2016, Hippocampus Magazine hosted two central-PA writers as part of Under the Gum Tree's National Nonfiction Simulcast, an evening of live readings – in three cities and online, a first-of-its-kind, live event that brought together a few peer literary journals. People attended live, in person, in each magazine’s hometown: Pittsburgh, Lancaster, or Sacramento, Calif.
